Legacy
Martin Luther King Jr. peacefully preached to America and changed the racism against African Americans. He also changed the segregation or John Crow Laws that were discriminating his race. King promoted his message by rebelling John Crow Laws, boycotting city buses, giving speeches, and starting organizations such as: SNCC (Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee), SCLC (Southern Christian Leadership Conference), and MIA (Montgomery Improvement Association).
Three words to describe Martin Luther King Jr. are, revolutionary, inspiring, and determined. He was revolutionary because he changed the way African Americans were treated then and are still treated today in America. King did this in a nonviolent but peaceful way using peaceful protesting and showing others that there are different ways other than using violence to correct the racism issue. He was inspirational because he was someone that anybody could look up to and say that I want to do that, I want to do what he did, I want to make a change like him. He was determined to make a change, and to not be discriminated by white people anymore. Martin Luther King Jr. never gave up and was positive he was going to make a change.
