Background
In Atlanta, Georgia on January 15, 1929 a prophet was born. He was born into a very religious family, his father being a minister. He had an older sister Christine and a younger brother Alfred Daniel nicknamed A. D. He applied to college a year early and entered Morehouse College at the age of 15. In 1948 he applied to Crozer Theological Seminary. He was accepted, but felt the pressure to work even harder because he was much younger then the other students and most of them were white. Later while getting his graduate degree, Martin fell in love with Coretta Scott and a few years later they married. Martin and Coretta had 4 children Yolanda Denise which they called Yoki, Martin the III, and Dexter. On December 1, 1955 Rosa Parks decided to not give up her seat on the bus, this is what started Martin Luther King Jr.'s revolution. In 1963, Martin Luther King Jr. was the youngest man at the age of 35 to receive the Nobel Peace Prize. The same year, he gave his famous "I Have a Dream" speech. 3 years later on April 4, 1968 this great man was assassinated on the balcony of his hotel room.
